This is a wonderful colour and a great quality product.
No more needs to be said. Top quality. Wonderful finish.

The actual colour of this paint bears no resemblance to the colour on the samples card. Consequently, we can't use it and since we have opened it, can't send it back either.

A beautiful finish - almost a pearlescent lustre.
I am gradually painting all the previously white glossed internal doors and skirtings in my Georgian house in Skimming Stone Estate Eggshell. It is an amazing very pale stony grey, giving a more contemporary and 'decorated' look to my internal joinery, with a most attractive pearlescent lustre once dried. It seems to work well with many of the neutral colours in my home, so it is really versatile. I have used it with Stony Ground in my en suite which is possibly my favourite combination but it also looks fabulous with Elephants Breath, Manor House Gray and Pigeon in other rooms. It dries really quickly and is hard-wearing; standing up well to the daily abuses from my family!

The ease of application and coverage is peerless!
It is pretty easy to bulk at the price of this paint if you only see cost and not the value. The amount of coverage you get due to the quality, depth and consistency of the paint almost make it a bargain, and when compared to other premium paint products we have used I don't believe we have paid a premium at all moreover got a product that in man-time and quality is very cost conscious. The colour depth is perfect and it goes on so easily. We have used this on our kitchen, dining room, and boot room. We love it!

a lovely elegant colour
I'm so glad I chose this colour! It's a lovely warm grey which makes a great backdrop for any colour of accessories. I thought that it might look a bit drab but it certainly doesn't! I think it may have a tiny touch of pink in it which warms it up....Well done Farrow and Ball.

A truly beautiful colour
We have painted our guest bedroom, study and lounge Skimming Stone. It is a really lovely colour. It is the colour of stone, so it is very neutral, but it is not cold at all. It works really well in all the rooms and we are really pleased with it.

Never used Farrow & Ball paint before and was unsure if would be worth the extra cost.
Should not have doubted.
The web site has lots of useful advice.
Excellent delivery and service from the on-line shop.
The colour matched the card and the room looks good in both day and artificial light.
As a consequence my wife is delighted with the result.

A beautiful, warm, calming, multi-faceted beigey stoney colour.
So easy to put on - only one coat needed as with other Farrow and Ball pale colours, and it is incredibly warm and cosy on cold days, and calm and tranquil on hot days. I have used it in my south facing living area and it goes very nicely with Eating Room Red which I have as a feature colour in a shelf alcove. It took me about 20 sample pots to find the correct colour but it was well worth it.
