Shaded White

No. 201

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Shaded White is perfect for any style of home, being neither too warm nor too cool. It has a soft greyness, but with none of the cooler tones of Cornforth White or the more yellow tones of Off-White, making it the most versatile of these neutrals. It is often used as a woodwork colour with lighter shades such as Pointing or Slipper Satin on the walls to create a slightly Gustavian feel. White & Light Tones Undercoat.

Does the job well Just as I had hoped. Great quality, pricey but worth it ! 27 May 2015
Fab colour Have used Clunch for the past 8 years - this colour is even better. 09 April 2015
A subtle colour easy to live with! Have used this colour in the bathroom and bedroom. I am very pleased with the result. It looks equally good on wood or walls and I recommend it for use with Wimbourne White. They compliment each other well. 20 January 2015
Great colour for floorboards I bought Shaded White floor paint for my bathroom floorboards. The colour is perfect against the Green Ground modern emulsion on the walls and the Cinder Rose I used to paint my roll top bath. A few years ago I painted my Mum's bathroom floor with F&B's floor paint and found it to be just perfect. It's easy to apply, washable, dries fast, very hard wearing and has a nice semi-matt finish. You can walk on the newly painted floor, albeit in socks, after just a few hours. It's also a very cheap way to get a 'new' floor! 30 December 2014
Expensive but worth every penny This is the first time that I have used Farrow and Ball paint. I have used the estate eggshell finish to paint my wooden kitchen units and table and chairs. The paint is dream to work with with excellent results. It dries very quickly though, so you need to take care not to touch up previously painted areas. As I painted wooden units, I needed at least two coats of the paint. I opted to use the Farrow and Ball primer/undercoat for white and light tones. Then two coats of the shaded white. The finish is great. Well worth using a primer. I hope that the paint stands the test of time in the kitchen area! Great paint!! 01 December 2014
My favourite (non) colour! I tried a number of similar colours and this was by far the best for me - neutral but warm. I have it all through the house, so each room flows into the next. I accent each room with different coloured soft furnishings and accessories. 25 October 2014
A subtle and elegant neutral I discovered shaded white when looking for a neutral shade to tone with kitchen cupboards painted in a shade of green similar to FB Mizzle. I painted my larder cupboard and mirror with estate emulsion in shaded white, the finish is very good and the colour has a green tone which is what I was hoping for. Although I have to say the colour does change in different aspects and light levels. I liked it so much I also painted my front door in estate eggshell and was also very pleased with the finished appearance and ease of use as the paint is water based. 30 September 2014
Wonderful colour I used Shaded White in eggshell and it is wonderful. It is a warm colour that tones well with pale grey and is not too yellowy or pinky. I used it with Light Blue to update a very old TV unit. The piece looks much better quality and now complements the rest of the room decor. 21 September 2014
