gorgeous depth of colour
Teamed Radicchio with Light Gray in my Hallway.
Radicchio below Dado Rail with Light Gray above. Beautiful combination.
Farrow and Ball paints well worth the expense. Love the depth of colour
achieved. Will never use anything else. Hannah123

Well worth the extra expense
I've been using F&B. Paint for some years and think it is by far the best emulsion available. In addition to the large range of beautiful colours available it is easy to use and the lovely flat matt finish is very pleasing. In this decorating project I used it with a patterned paint roller and the result was great.

blue and dark
this color was not suitable for North East exposure in daylight and quite dark for (4) walls.
This color is suitable for other applications and the product and service of the company is competitive and good.

Not the shade expected from the colour chart
The paint sample was significantly less deep in colour than that displayed on the colour chart.

Warm and welcoming, Small west facing room...
I found this little cold room in the back West end of the house.
F&B's colour advice stated that pinks would work well in West, so I decided to see how far this advice would stretch.
Like all of the other paints I have used, Radicchio was a pleasure to work with. Excellent flow and beautiful matte finish. It applies thicker than some of the other paints I have used. Needed two coats.
The colour is another strange blend of colours, which is hard to photograph well. Wet Radicchio seems a bit bland, but once dry it deepens into a nice claret colour, while still retaining an almost pale blue purple hue.
For a small room it works extremely well. It warms it up completely without shrinking the room or becoming too dark or 'hot'.
I can't wait for a lovely reading session there next summer in the golden evening light...
Eventually I finished the room by painting the small strip between the cast iron fireplace and white wooden surround Off-Black. It is lovely matte and unassuming. With it's blue hue it is a perfect colour to help blend the fireplace and it's frame into the wall.
