Pointing is a firm Farrow & Ball favourite for both ceilings and woodwork in traditional settings. Named after the colour of lime pointing used in brickwork, it has a light warm undertone and fresh uncomplicated feel to it. It creates the prettiest of spaces when used on walls and always softens the look of a room when used with strong traditional colours. White & Light Tones Undercoat.

A great colour Have used Pointing for our ceilings for over 8 years - haven't found colour to replace it with. 09 April 2015
Pointing I LOVE this colour and this is the first time I have used it on walls as well as woodwork - really pleased with the results. It has brightened a very dark north-facing gloomy room without feeling too clinical. 08 April 2015
Just the white I was looking for.. There were a few 'white's' to choose from and I was unsure which to choose when wanting to paint out my old pine bedroom furniture. I have white built in wardrobes as well so I didn't want anything too 'yellow'. This white is fantastic...easy to use as all F&B paint is and I am utterly delighted with the overall result. I painted a bog standard white undercoat on and then 2 coats of F&B.I didn't even bother sanding down...the result is wonderful. 17 February 2015

Nice paint to work with and lovely finish. Was requested by customer for built-in wardrobes to match their walls. Applied a couple of coats with a smooth roller and very pleased with the finish. A bit expensive compared to high street prices but worth paying. 05 February 2015
Much better than plain boring "White" We have used this for painted wooden shelves and cupboard doors and find it much more pleasing than "bright white". 26 December 2014
Great "white" excellent choice of a "white". Used on main doors in kitchen, and picked out the panels in stiffkey blue 17 November 2014
Very useful colour for traditional woodwork. This was an additional purchase - we have already used the colour extensively on the woodwork of this mid-Victorian house. The paint is of good quality, easy to use and leaving an attractive sheen finish. The price difference between Farrow and Ball and other high quality paints now makes me think twice about your products, and if we had not used the colour already, we might have shopped elsewhere. 14 November 2014
