Beautiful finish and colour
My husband and I were a little unsure after painting on the first coat, as in how the door we were painting looked, but when the paint dried it looked fabulous. The colour (pigeon) is exactly the shade we were looking for. We have an edwardian semi with red brick so we wanted a colour to neutralise the red. Pigeon is a grey tone that appears green-grey, or blue-grey depending on the light. Would definitely buy again.

Completly transformed our kitchen
We sampled 4 or 5 colours as we wanted to completly change the colour of our tired looking kitchen. We chose Pigeon and its absolutley stunning. Our kitchen is light and airy and colour changes depending on the time of day. It varies between green and grey. My husband is painting the units and he says the paint is fantastic. He used the dark undertones undercoat, then applied 2 coats of Pigeon estate eggshell. This is the first time we have used Farrow and Ball products - and we wont use any other now. Im busy choosing a colour for an old kitchen table and chairs along with a welsh dresser ive just purchaed, to compliment my new kitchen!

What is wrong with this paint
We use professional painters and the estate eggshell is a nightmare to use, they have to apply at least 1 extra topcoat if they use farrow and ball paint. We only buy it if the customer is very insistent.

Beautiful colour and finish but not impressed with the quality
Renovated two houses using farrow and ball paints and am part way through a third. Chose this colour for the lounge/dining room which is taking far longer to complete as I'm having to use four coats of paint for each wall as the coverage is absolutely appalling. Never had this problem before so contacted farrow and ball to ask if there was a problem with this particular batch. They tested the batch yet no problem was found. I've used four tins of paint so far, instead of the anticipated two, and will need to purchase a fifth tin in order to apply coats three and four to the final wall. Would expect to need three coats to obtain full coverage had I used cheap paint, but having to apply four coats of farrow and ball paint just to ensure full coverage is not what I expect. Very disappointed.

Beautiful colours but not as hard wearing as you may be lead to believe.
I think there is no doubt that most will love F&B colour pallet. What has been a disappointment (given the price of the product) is that it is not as hard wearing as F&B would have you believe. We used floor paint for all the woodwork in our house because of our 2 small children but even a slight knock by a child's wooden chair has left a very noticeably scratch and a fruit bowl now needs a mat to protect the paintwork which which wasn't necessary before. I must add that we had professionals paint the house top to bottom, F&B primer was used where necessary but they were less than happy with the application. A minimum or two coats is definitely required for both wall and wood surfaces.

Very unique colour
I painted my front door in pigeon and i've had a lot compliments since. It paints beautifully, very easy to use. I will be using it again for sure. :-)

Fantastic Paint all round
Absolutely thrilled with the results, used Pigeon exterior eggshell for my dressing room cuboard doors with fantastic results. Of couse used F&B emulsion on the walls too. The quality of the paint is outstanding, the colour choices inspiring! I dont use anything else.

Two coats to perfection - lovely sophisticated grey/green.
Took two coats which drank the paint. Well worth the effort. Goes well with strong dark greens/blues/crimson in curtains and grey leather 3 piece suite. This replaced F&B Light Blue which had been on for 15 years! It remained as good as the day it was put on but we needed a change!
