Pavilion Blue

No. 252

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Pavilion Blue was inspired by the wonderful Regency colours in the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, although a little lighter in tone. When teamed with All White it has a clean fresh but not too cool feel which is perfect for use in bathrooms. It can also be used on woodwork with the stronger green blue tones. Great paint, easy to apply, and final effect is brilliant Paint is great. Shame that modern emulsion is not more readily available in stockists. Have to order direct from F&B. The service is brilliant, and the paint arrived two days after order. The container is a bit on the thin size for the volume and weight of the paint. I was worried it would split. 18 November 2014
pretty but pale I wanted to paint a porch ceiling in a "robin's egg blue" color to mimic the porch ceilings in New Orleans (where some say the painted porch ceilings ward off the "evil eye"). However, I wanted a more subtle version for my DC house, so it wouldn't look too wacky. I ordered a sample pot of Pavillion Blue, and painted myself a big chip, and the color looked perfect, but when the paint was applied to my porch ceiling, it almost disappeared. So I definitely got "subtle," but unless the "evil eye" has better than 20/20 vision, it's unlikely to be warded off! (LOL). Anyhow, it's a very pretty off-white...but not exactly what I was going for. 28 July 2014
Mixing Pavilion Blue with Borrowed LIght In our loft room you can see the sky from the windows, and I wanted to continue the effect on the walls. With one coat of Pavilion Blue, the walls looked too green. 'Borrowed light' was too cold. Then I mixed equal quantities of 'Pavilion Blue' and 'Borrowed Light' . The colours are very compatible in depth. The result could be described as duck egg blue, or a warm sky blue - it is perfect. 10 June 2014
Not a cold colour, wonderful results. I have used this colour in a fairly small, north-facing room, with great results. I was worried that it would look cold, but it actually doesn't, just light and fresh and reflective of the sea which we can see from our house. Everyone has remarked on how good it looks. 26 May 2014
Superior quality and great coverage. Well worth the money. This was my first time using Farrow and Ball paint. You came highly recommended and I can see why. The paint goes a long way and gives excellent coverage and went on effortlessly. I ordered my paint online and received it within 48 hours - excellent service all round. Now planning my next order. So many colours to choose from! Many thanks. Dianne Dunstable 27 March 2014
Beautiful colour We used Pavilion Blue in our north facing second bedroom. I had some slight reservations initially as I thought it might look a little too washed out, but the end result is beautiful, it is a calming lovely colour. We used Wimborne White on the ceiling and woodwork as advised by staff in the Islington showroom and they work very well together. It is definitiely worth visiting a showroom if you are able to as the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. 10 September 2013
Beautiful color! I used this gorgeous color on the ceiling of my kitchen and it produced the loveliest glow. Very subtle, but the effect is noticeable. My walls are the palest gray (Ben Moore, Horizon). I would use this color in every room! 09 November 2012
Beautiful Lovely colour, covered our horrible bobbly wallpaper really well with one coat. Worth the extra money! The colour goes well with Bone. 01 October 2012
