Parma Gray

No. 27

Parma Gray 4.8 5 47 47
Great application and colour This is the first time I had used this paint and I have to say I am very impressed! It hardly drips when applying it due to a slightly thicker consistency. The colour is a blue/grey which contrasts the white walls and suite in our bathroom well. I would definitely use this paint again, and even my husband who helped paint the wall was impressed and he is the sort of guy who doesn't really get excited by paint! October 9, 2014
Lovely colour blue. Had been hunting for a pale blue paint that wasnt too bright or too twee like for a nursery. This colour is just what I was looking for. Getting my kitchen painted in this colour too. Good coverage and easy to get a good finish. I got the eggshell. Easy to wipe down. Overall very pleased with result. September 10, 2014
An intriguing colour Of all the colours I chose for my apartment redec., this is the one that has had the most impact. Its turned a narrow dark hallway into a much more sophisticated space thanks to the depth of colour. As others have noted it does come out darker than the colour swatches, but the sample I painted was accurate, and in fact thats what made me use it. I do seem to have a problem with underlying wall filler coming through this paint - I'm writing this 2 years after its application and there are now some light patches showing, so it will need a re-coat at some stage which is a bit of a disappointment given the cost of the paint. I used this with Strong White for the woodwork, All White for Ceiling and Down Pipe for the hall doors. September 9, 2014
Not a grey, difficult to tell colour from tester Hello, I have just applied the Parma Grey in the hall and landing of my Victorian property. Prior to this I had extensively tested with the tester pot to make sure I liked the color. The final colour is nothing like what I had from the tester. Ok tester is estate emulsion and I used modern emulsion which "has a slight (a bit more than slight) sheen" therefore a little colour variation is expected. But the result is far from what I expected. Its completely blu and it is not very light either. It has rather darkened the areas. I have had a professional painter applying the colour and I cant just ask him to repaint, therefore I have to live with it. Nice, but not what I wanted and disappointed by the difference in the colour. This did not happen with the India Yellow and Castle Grey I used for other rooms however still a let down if I can not trust for future use. August 28, 2014
Nice colour, but not right and not how it appears on the screen I would like a light grey to go with my turquoise door, and white windows of my terrace, for my stone bays and brick porch. Thought this was the one. I thought I was getting a sample of maisonary paint, but it's not and it has a blue hint to it. Can we have some more terraced house examples. Maybe a users photo attached to paint types and colours? August 18, 2014
Great Colour & Texture Very calming colour with soft hues of blue & grey...very muted. The paint itself so thick yet easy to use...Have painted our summer house in it & blends beautifully in with the garden! August 8, 2014
Great colour Looks grey in the tin transforms to a beautiful blue on the wall. Changes depending on the light conditions. Very happy with the results. Teamed with Pitch Blue is something special. July 7, 2014
Looks great in my kitchen I bought this paint to cover some very good quality wooden kitchen cupboards which were mahogany brown. It went on (with the correct undercoat ) like a dream and has changed my kitchen for the better forever! Perhaps I'm being very careful at the moment but it seems to be incredibly hard wearing.
