Olive is a very earthy green originally used in paneled rooms and best suited to darker spaces where the richness of this colour really comes into its own. It should never be contrasted with a bright white, which will make it look too drab but with Off-White or Old White for a softer more sophisticated feel. Dark Tones Undercoat.

Stunning kitchen colour My favourite fandb colour of all - Looks so good in our big edwardian kitchen that we've decided to use in our lounge too. Perfect green. 16 May 2015
Great product The samples I received were great paints to paint with, good coverage and the colours were accurate - chart to wall. The delivery of sample pots was quick. It says I have to use a minimum of 50 words, for this review, but I have nothing else to say! 05 March 2015
A superior paint. We bought this to re-paint a wall which had very recently been painted in a competitor's paint which proved to be very disappointing in its finish. The F&B paint was superior in every way. It had a nice thick texture and covered well without marks whether using a roller or a brush. We love the rich earthy colour-this was on a feature wall on our stairs-which contrasted well with the pale cream on the other walls. As our local stockist didn't have this colour this was ordered from F&B direct-it arrived within 2 days! A little more expensive than other paints but well worth it. Highly recommended. We're planning our next decorating project and won't look anywhere else for the paint-it's that good. 23 September 2014
Lovely colour, excellent finish Bought this colour online for an exterior accent wall. Fast delivery and colour was just what I wanted. The paint itself was really nice to work with and only needed one coat to get an excellent finish. 14 August 2014
F&B: As fabulous as ever! Being fans of Farrow & Ball, choosing a colour from their wonderful range was an obvious choice when overhauling a pair of wrought iron garden chairs and table. The previous hue was an alarming turquoise which would be wonderful if we were planning to sit on them at the junction of Haight/Ashbury Streets in San Francisco circa 1967. The Olive which we used was perfect for the job; covered easily and well; looking marvellous after two coats and absolutely complementing the garden. Highly recommended. 04 August 2014
lovely colour Painted my adirondack chair in this colour. Really beautiful colour, a little darker than it looks and looks really good. 23 June 2014
An warm elegant green We put this on the walls of our large south west facing kitchen. The decorator likes this paint as he says it has good coverage and quality. This is now the third room he has painted for us using F&B paint. It is so restful a colour and not as 'in your face' as the computer generated colour looks. A colour card is much truer. Like other F&B paints the depth of colour changes with the changing light of the day and artificial light at night. From pale green in bright sunlight to a deep warm green and I am so glad I finally found the colour that brings the kitchen together. 20 November 2013
A quality paint. Purchased specifically for the colour and whilst accepting the price a little higher than other brands I recommend the extra few pounds. The coverage was excellent and the paint looks stunning on the second coat. My first dabble with any F&B paint and would now be reluctant to use anything else. 31 August 2013
