Mizzle

No. 266

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Mizzle is named after west-country evening skies when there is a mix of both mist and drizzle. With the addition of green pigment it has no cold blue tones, rather it intensifies and does the job of darker Pigeon or Blue Gray, when used in much smaller rooms. Rooms feel modest and soft when painted in this rather indeterminate colour. Mid Tones Undercoat.

Finish of quality We have used your emulsion extensively in the past and have recently used Mizzle from your estate emulsion range and have now just used your eggshell in the same colour. The finish is fantastic and the cover on previously glossed surfaces is really impressive. One coat covered the old white gloss. 07 June 2015
This paint is too difficult to apply and get a good finish I bought eggshell to paint kitchen cabinet doors and found it very difficult toget a satisfactory finish. The paint didn't flow as well as it should have done and became tacky far too quickly.Even though I am avery experienced painter, able to work quickly using very good quality brushes I was very disappointed with the finish. I will not use Farrow and Ball again but will find an oil based paint which I am sure will give a better finish 05 June 2015
Colour, Finish and Durability The colour is exactly what I wanted with a matt finish which is incredibly hard wearing and durable. 15 May 2015
High quality paint According to my local decorator this was the best quality paint he had ever used. A very high quality that is easy to use with very high quality finish. 29 April 2015
Drop dead gorgeous colour We are having our kitchen made from wood and painted. I wanted a grey-green-blue shade (the kitchen is in Provence) which would look good in a room without great natural light (the kitchen faces north). We haven't yet done the work, but I painted all 6 samples on large pieces of wood (the larger the better I think) and stood them all up on the worktop. All 6 were lovely colours, but I went straight for Mizzle. It's much more beautiful than it looked either on the sample card or on my screen, and so restful. It's the sort of colour I feel I could never tire of (just as well as the kitchen will be so expensive!). And, as the description says, it looks different as the natural light changes. 23 April 2015
calm and lovely Have just used this colour in the kitchen. it tones in with everything and works well with neutral and bright colours. I love it. 15 March 2015
Gorgeous finish!! Wow this paint is amazing. Although abit expensive you cannot fault the overall finish so classy. Love the different colours you can see depending on the time of day - is it green, blue or grey? First time purchaser to F&B but already planning my next project and will definitely be buying this paint again. 07 March 2015
beautiful calm understated colour Really lovely colour as always from Farrow and Ball. It's very much a greyish green on our walls which is absolutely what we were after. We have always used F&B estate emulsion but as this room is a high traffic area we opted for the modern emulsion. The paint went on nicely (2 coats) and the sheen on the modern emulsion is quite minimal. 23 February 2015
