London Stone

London Stone’s colour was created by John Fowler for a classic Nash house in Regents Park. With its warm underlying magenta tones, this stone colour is the perfect accent for all the red based neutrals. It feels modern when contrasted with Dimity, either on walls or woodwork, and more dateless when paired with the stronger Oxford Stone. Mid Tones Undercoat.

good all round colour I have used London stone eggshell in two cottages now, it complements London Clay which I have used on the doors. it still has a period feel but doesn't make the cottages dark, I use Wimbourne white emusion on all the walls 22 May 2015
A pleasing result I have used this colour on my bookcase and tongue & groove paneling in my dinning room and kitchen along with Archive in modern emulsion on the walls, the two colours compliment one another and with green stone used on my kitchen units. All the colours look good with our antique and modern furnishings. 19 May 2015
This paint is so superior that even I look like a professional This paint is so superior to other brands that even when I paint it looks professional. The London stone seems to change colors with the sunlight, sometimes it looks grey other times a hint of lavender comes through, truly amazing paint. 03 May 2015
Farrow and ball emusion this is the first time I have used this paint, fabulous 19 March 2015
Great coverage for easy matching purposes. As we live a stones throw from Regent's Park in London it is pleasing to know that we have chosen this colour from one of the residences we walk past on an almost daily basis when in London. Living in Worcester during the summer season we found this paint to cover superbly on a single coat. It allows for colour matching a range of splendid autumnal shades. A wonderful warming product. 27 February 2015
Wonderful result, lovely colour, but difficult to apply. Fantastic colour, real stone tone, not pinkish or yellow shades. Reliable result but I needed to apply 3 coats, just as it came out of the tin, not adding water. But worth the effort and very elegant look for my drawing room. 20 February 2015
Above our expectations We loathe painting, but really had to do our lounge as it was looking very shabby. After browsing your website we decided to give Farrow and Ball a try.We used London Stone on wood panelling and Dimity above it.The ease of painting was amazing-no drips ,no runs-perfect.The results are superb and now we are hooked and on to the next room!Thank you Farrow and Ball! 15 February 2015
Beautiful Colour Good quality paint that was very easy to apply and gave good coverage. Beautiful matt colour which wasn't too dark and actually enhanced our naturally dark lounge to give it more character, without making it too dark. 07 February 2015
