good strong colour, covers well, dries quickly, easy to apply - worth the money

Not as good as the oil based version
I've painted a full wall of built in bookcases with this - used a whole 2.5l can. It's easy to apply, and I have to say how much easier it is to clean with water than white spirit. But the finish is not nearly as resilient. It looks great - and appears dry on the surface - but even after 2 weeks of drying, the shelves are 'sticky', and the paint pulls off too easily.
The kitchen cupboards I painted 5 years ago with the previous Satin finish paint are still practically as good as new.
This is too expensive to produce an unacceptable finish!

London Clay in my light Filled bedroom
I'm not a great painter, and that's just one reason I use F&B. Its the pigment in the paint, and its ease of use. I painted over a F&B blue not really knowing how I would like it.
I live in the forest of western Quebec, 2 hours from an F&B store. I'm thrilled every time I climb the stairs and enter my bedroom day or night to London Clay. I know it sounds over romantic. but I am really in love with this colour, and plan to use it in a home I've been renovating in the city.

Sophisticated and restful
We painted the walls and slanting uprights of our loft bedroom in London Clay, with Slipper Satin on the thin uppermost ceiling strip and window recesses and Tanner's Brown on the skirting and door. The room had previously been Dulux brilliant white, and we were worried that the new colour scheme might feel dark and claustrophobic. We could not have been more wrong - the overall effect is surprisingly spacious. As other reviewers have said, this colour seems to recede when you look at it. But it creates an atmosphere of intimacy and calm sophistication. We loved it so much that we have used it to paint our bathroom, again to spectacular effect (with Tanner's Brown on the woodwork).

a wonderfully rich colour!
A wonderfully warm, rich colour used to update a good but old fashioned coffee table top. With the legs sanded to a lighter hue it looks great, I'm really pleased.

Great colour and great paint
Used London Clay colour for our guttering and downpipes so that they blended in with the roof tiles. It does the job perfectly and was very easy to use. Also excellent service from Farrow & Ball. Thanks.

The product performed the work required of it successfully.
We used this product to provide an overall backround colour on a shellscheme exhibition stand at a national exhibition at the N. E. C. in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The stand displayed framed landscape Giclee prints of various sizes, both rectangular and square and this paint and its colour was a perfect foil for the artwork. The stand stood out from its neighbours and attracted customers, who commented favourably about the display.

Absolutely delighted with our new look bathroom.
I needed a colour to complement the new tiles in our refurbished bathroom. With no natural light, I thought white would give a good effect, but no. The luxurious ambiance was just not there. After a number of A4 sheets covered in tester pot paint. I decided to be brave and use London Clay for the wall above the sink and toilet, as it seemed to match the colour of the tiles. The result was everything I had hoped for, and more. The room looks beautiful.
