significant day to evening change For those who use F&B you will already appreciate that the colour on screen and tester card is no real indicator of the paint on the wall, and tester pots must be used. Having painted a x1 SQ foot area I thought this was enough to get a good idea of the colour and so painted a 15x13ft interior, west facing wall, with a lot of immediate light. The colour is a very pastel green, none of the yellow hint seen on screen above. During the day it has a shade of grey that keeps the colour back and gives a subtle and peaceful characteristic. In the evening, with lamp light, the grey disappears and the colour seems to increase in hue - the pastel green becomes much brighter and more alive. For my needs this day to night change is the wrong way around, it is calm and subtle during the day and lively in the evening, and the amount it comes alive is not obvious from such a small test area so if you are thinking of using this colour really test it first - it is very lively. Beautiful Paint Used F&B Green Ground and Cooking Apple Green in my entrance hall. Love the colours so much that when we needed to redecorate we used it again. The paint goes on well and is very easy to use. Totally recomend F&B paints March 20, 2014
Great to use and has a lovely finish We used green ground on the walls of our west facing front room. It blended perfectly with James white on the ceiling and pale powder on the woodwork. We think it looks stunning and so does all are visitors. The estate finish is a lovely powder look and reflects the light brilliantly. At times it looks golden especially when the sun is setting . The paint is lovely and creamy to use and goes on easy. This is the first time that we have used Farrow and Ball and now would not consider any other make. August 28, 2013
Lovely colour This paint is in my bedroom, and I'm very pleased with it. It seems very pale on the website, but my green curtains really bring out the colour of this paint. It is very even, and has a very calm, warm feel to it. April 2, 2013
Cool and relaxing A tranquil colour which brings light to a dark room. Co-ordinates well with Folly Green and Cooking Apple Green. March 14, 2013
Love this color Several years ago, I painted my bathroom this color. It was lovely. The house is not historic, though, and the room needed other decorating updates. It was almost as though the paint color made the rest of the room look noticeably less chic by comparison. A few years ago, someone repainted the room in another color we had picked out, hoping to coordinate with the existing tile better. I regret that now, and wish my bathroom were still this beautiful Green Ground color. It's really the best looking paint I've ever seen, not just because of the color, but because of the pigmentation as well. November 12, 2012
Perfection I believe this may be my favourite green for bedroom walls. It imbued the room with a timelessness and tranquillity that I associate with guest bedrooms in one's artistic grandparents' home. It invites the visitor to curl up under the duvet with a good book and just 'be'. August 30, 2012
