Farrow & Ball Around the World

Farrow & Ball paint colours are used around the world to adorn the walls of some of the most prestigious properties and art galleries. Visit them at:

HISTORIC HOUSES

Bath Assembly Rooms, Somerset, UK

Farrow & Ball was selected as the preferred paint supplier for the restoration of the world famous Ballroom at the Bath Assembly Rooms in Bath, Somerset, England. The Ballroom has been faithfully restored to the original 18th century decorative scheme using Farrow & Ball paint colours Ballroom Blue No.24 and Cornforth White No.228.

Charleston House, Sussex, UK

Farrow & Ball has been involved with the conservation painting of Charleston House since its original restoration in the early 1980s. The house most recently underwent restoration work in Spring 2009, when Farrow & Ball specialist lead-based paint was used to ensure historical accuracy during the conservation work. Farrow & Ball created a bespoke paint colour, ‘Bloomsbury Blue Gray’ which is featured on the exterior woodwork of the house. The colour and finish of the paint was carefully matched to original paintwork to recreate the authentic look of Charleston.

Squerryes Court, Kent, UK

Farrow & Ball paint was used exclusively in the redecoration of the Tapestry Room in this beautiful 17th century manor house in Kent.

Kingston Bagpuize House, Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

The redecorated Drawing Room at Kingston Bagpuize house features Farrow & Ball paint colours Wimborne White No.239, New White No.59 and White Tie No.2002 which complement the striking 18th century damask St Antoine BP 933 wallpaper.

Manchester Art Gallery, Manchester, UK

Farrow & Ball paint colours provide the backdrop to three very different exhibitions at Manchester Art Gallery. Created in collaboration with the Gallery and taking its name from the well known artist and poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti, the bespoke colour ‘Rossetti Blue’ can be seen in the Victorian Galleries. Striking Arsenic colours the walls to the ‘Pre-Raphaelite Experiment’, while the quieter Drab is used for the display ‘Myth, Dream and Reality: The Human Form 1700- 1920’ in the Gallery Entrance Hall. See these and many more fine and decorative art exhibitions at Manchester Art Gallery.
