Well produced but disappointing book The book is nice to look at, but disappointing in terms of content. There are very nice photographs of a small selection of interiors. The interiors were not created specifically for the book, or chosen purposefully - they are just convenience sampling. My main problem with the book was that the interiors chosen all used a very similar selection of colours, mainly off-whites, in a very similar style and manner, and therefore you simply did not get the feel for what F&B colours can do. Furthermore, many colours used and photographed in the book are archive colours. There are very few colours that are actually on the current paint card. I was also expecting much more information and advice about the general use of colours. There is a small section about that, which is quite short and basic. June 5, 2013
Beautiful and Useful We just bought a Victorian house which needs loads of work and to be completely redecorated. So I was looking for ideas when I came a cross this book. I had such a good time reading it and it is full of amazing photos of lovely houses. I totally enjoyed it and my husband loved it too. March 26, 2013
