Farrow's Cream

No. 67

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Farrows Cream is our original cream named after the paint pioneer who founded the company with Richard Ball. It is a pretty, traditional colour, with no addition of black, which creates delightfully inviting rooms. Farrows Cream feels as at home on the paneling of a 17th century hall as it is does on the units of a relaxed family kitchen. Mid Tones Undercoat.

Up cycling furniture Could not be more pleased with result of the paint finish on the dresser. To think we were considering chucking it out. 11 May 2015
Excellent colour, good paintability Farrow's Cream was the ideal choice of colour for the wooden windows and doorframes of our listed house built of local stone. The water-based gloss goes on very well, but not as good as the unfortunately discontinued oil-base exterior gloss, but the final result is still excellent. 29 April 2015

So easy to use Unlike other branded paints, Farrow and Ball's paint glides on the surface easily. It doesn't seem 'gloopy' like other paints and it covers beautifully. I used the paint for outside windows and painting a porch and the finish is fantastic. Even though I painted it myself, it looks like a professional job - no drips! I would highly recommend paying the extra for a cracking finish. 06 March 2015
Beautiful colour and finish This is a beautiful buttery cream and in some lights even a soft gold, with F&B all white woodwork it looks fresh and clean yet with a little warmth so that the entrance hall is still both elegant and inviting. I bought 20 litres as I had purchased this quantity for two coats of another make in the past, however the decorator says this paint goes a long way, so I have sufficient left for the dining room - which I'm really pleased about. Farrow and Ball colours are subtle and therefore add colour gently, and the finish is excellent. 28 February 2015
Just perfect.... Rich creamy colour, great application and really matt finish. 24 February 2015
Far better than I expected Struggled to chose a colour for a dark, north facing study/snug. Followed the advice from F and B online for north facing rooms and I am over the moon! This is a fabulous deep cream with a yellow tone -but very warm. Used new white eggshell on all the paintwork and the room looks light and welcoming. Can't wait to finish. Just need another colour for the bookcase . PS. As usual the finish on the walls is superb and changes subtly with the light. Love it. 09 February 2015
Good but recommended undercoat is too dark for Farrow's Cream This is a lovely custard cream colour that I've used in a north facing bedroom. However the recommended mid tones undercoat is too dark. I've used several coats of top coat to cover the undercoat. The job would have been easier if I had used a white or light tones undercoat. 06 January 2015
