Elephant's Breath

No. 229

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Elephant's Breath with its hint of magenta will read as a warm contemporary grey but can become almost lilac in west facing rooms. To make it less lilac it is best not used with All White, but with the softer Strong White. For fashionable interiors, offset it with Charleston Gray and London Clay as slightly more intense accents. I do like this colour, but I prefer Pigeon which has more depth. I sent for the sample pot as I was not sure that the Pigeon which I had already bought from you might be a bit dark. But in the end I preferred the Pigeon. 05 June 2015

Best paint I have ever used My entire house is (where painted of course)painted in Farrow and Ball Estate Emulsion /Estate Eggshell or exterior Gloss - in 2 rooms I have used F&B Wallpaper - can't say more than that!! 22 April 2015
Great for walls - unsure about it for woodwork! Great colour for walls, as I have it in my home, - so disappointed in it as eggshell for wardrobe I've just had painted. So much so, I've now painted it again in my trusted friend, Slipper Satin! Very boring of me, I know, but I'm sorry - it was just too dull and just looked drab. I know it can work, but not for me. I've now chosen Charleston Gray for another bookshelf and it looks fab. Really pleased with the richness of the colour - very smart. 17 April 2015
Although a light colour it gives a warm effect. Delivery service was very quick. Pleased with the top quality paint. Easy to apply and leaves a smooth finish. Would highly recommend this product to anyone.Steph 08 April 2015
Beautiful neutral I have painted bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers in Elephant's Breath Estate Eggshell. It's a luxe alternative to white in a neutral room without being too imposing. It looks beige under fluorescent light and warm grey under natural light. It complements my dark wood furniture. 17 March 2015
Sample pot I have had to order this product twice as the first order did not arrive. This sample pot has now cost me £10 17 March 2015
