Great for walls - unsure about it for woodwork!
Great colour for walls, as I have it in my home, - so disappointed in it as eggshell for wardrobe I've just had painted. So much so, I've now painted it again in my trusted friend, Slipper Satin! Very boring of me, I know, but I'm sorry - it was just too dull and just looked drab. I know it can work, but not for me.
I've now chosen Charleston Gray for another bookshelf and it looks fab. Really pleased with the richness of the colour - very smart.

Although a light colour it gives a warm effect.
Delivery service was very quick. Pleased with the top quality paint. Easy to apply and leaves a smooth finish. Would highly recommend this product to anyone.Steph

I have painted bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers in Elephant's Breath Estate Eggshell. It's a luxe alternative to white in a neutral room without being too imposing. It looks beige under fluorescent light and warm grey under natural light.
It complements my dark wood furniture.

Lovely colour and easy to use
We bought Elephant's Breath along with Strong White for our new kitchen/diner. We went for Modern Emulsion as recommended on the Farrow & Ball website. Coverage was excellent and two coats were enough on top of a white miss coat (cheap watered down emulsion) on top of new plaster. The application of the second coat was much easier with a much smoother glide on brush strokes when cutting in. The final colour and finish is lovely. The colour changes from a light grey, to a warm faint chocolate brown. This is our first time using Farrow & Ball paint, but we will definitely be using it again. The Strong White that we chose for the ceiling is lovely too and blends with the Elephant's Breath really well. It's a subtle white, not harsh like the super bright whites you often get. One thing to note, the finish is really tough and was a very hard to get off a paint tray after use - in the end I just gave up. If you use a paint scuttle, you might want to consider using a liner.

Bad expensive product
After a few days the paint is already peeling and scuffing everywhere. Aa bad product for ta veryhigh price! Definitely wouldn't recommend it.

A Perfect Match
I purchased Elephant's Breath together with Skiming Stone for my new bathroom (west facing). It is is a joyous combination! Whilst I don't have a great deal of natural light, the Elephant's Breath appears more lilac, but the two colours create a restful atmosphere - perfect for the bathroom. As it says on the tin 'stand back and admire'. Or in my case, from the bath!
