Dove Tale

No. 267

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Dove Tale is a stronger version of Elephant's Breath and at times can seem even more lilac, so is perfect for those who want a really warm grey tone. It is the perfect choice for a grey bedroom because its lilac undertone gives a soft boudoir feel creating the most flattering and subtle scheme when paired with Skimming Stone. Mid Tones Undercoat.

Opulent Dove Tail came out slight greyer than we were expecting when we finished painting 2 large walls. But we love it. It looks luxurious, and surprisingly warm, and a perfect offset for the odd splash of colour, deep yellow and dark red 21 March 2015
best paint for the best finish in the best colours after searching for the perfect colour for my room I found this, not too dark not too light a warm and beautiful colour, my son said it looks like chocolate and strawberry milk in the same glass! The paint itself is easy to work with goes on smoothly and finishes to a superb matt finish I love this paint and have now used it in three rooms. 16 November 2014
Not as good as it was seven years ago In the past we have enjoyed using F and B paint, we were impressed with the quality of the paint and the colours. Unfortunately this time we have been disappointed.. The paint was thin and took three coats to cover a white wall. We had to use a lot of paint to get coverage. It's a shame because F and B have had a good history and reputation. I'm not hearing good things.... 13 November 2014
As usual good quality paint with brilliant results A lovely colour grey without veering towards lilac - a very pure grey tone. Will be getting curtains in an Indian Yellow with touches of white and grey. The bedroom is now a very relaxing place - a very tranquil yet warm colour. 30 September 2014
Covered in one coat just as we expect from F&B The best paint we have ever used. Time after time we would not go anywhere else. 31 March 2014
Lovely rich colour First time using Farrow & Ball for interior walls. It's lived up to its reputation- amazing finish and colour! One thing i didn't quite like is the coverage- i was painting over magnolia and even with two coats old colour was coming through in patches, so needed 3 coats. 15 January 2014
Great sophisticated colour Painted my 13-year-old daughter's smallish north-facing bedroom this colour, with Pointing ceiling and woodwork - had to persuade her, but she and I are both thrilled with result - cosy, stylish, elegant, understated, definite but not too dark. Looks great in our 1930s house. Very pleased! 25 November 2013
Finally the exact colour I was looking for. An unusual colour, a mix of grey, mushroom and mauve. Perfect when put with 'off-black'. 13 September 2013
