Dorset Cream

No. 68

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Dorset Cream’s name conjures up exactly the right colour in our minds; a rich double cream made in the heart of the West Country. A darker version of Farrow's Cream, it should never be used with a bright white but with a sympathetic yellow based neutral like New White, to create a charming, harmonious scheme which feels delightfully traditional. Mid Tones Undercoat.

Almost impossible to create a reasonable finish on small areas The colour is lovely but being water based it is extremely challenging to create a good brush free finish. Recommend the use of oil based paint if you are looking for a traditional quality look. I will not use F and B again except for their emulsions. Love the colour range available. 05 June 2015
Better finnish. This paint is much better than others I've used and gives a much better finish than most others ice used in the past. 21 April 2015
Relaxing Colour We've used this colour in our lounge for the past 4years and wanted to repaint to freshen up, after considering changing the colour we decided to stick with Dorset yellow68 again as it just suits the room. The colour is calm & relaxing while looking warm in the winter months. The Modern Emulsion is hard wearing and wipes down, this as been tested for the last 4 years by our 4 year old. would not buy any other paint on the market for walls . 20 November 2014
Spiral Stare Case Used this for a spiral staircase which is lit by leaded light quadrafoil (?)windows and has our collection of IslamoChristian prints from the Picos de Europa. In some light(modern long lasting bulbs) it is a warm creamy yellow and with old fashioned bulbs a powdery orange/yellow.Both are a great shade to set off the dark reds and browns of the prints.A lovely warm colour. 26 October 2014
gives the room a quality feel I have used Dorset cream in 3 rooms , the product is idiot proof, makes me look a good decorator all I need is my frog tape and farrow and ball 23 June 2014
Rich colour Not used this batch yet so cannot comment on final results or ease of use, but have used this colour in a previous home. A satisfyingly rich 'clotted cream' colour to bring warmth to a dull room. 30 May 2014
Lovely warm colour This is a lovely warm cosy colour for the winter but bright and sunny when the sun shines into the room. It has a real country feel to it 25 July 2013
Great Colour It is a lovely warm colour and very hardwearing but the modern emulsion is very thick and goes on the wall like glue! Really pleased with the result though. 06 May 2013
