Cream

No. 44

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Cream is a classic colour created by the addition of yellow ochre, along with a little lamp black to give it a greyer more sophisticated look than the fresher Farrow's Cream. When used on walls it has a very traditional feel, reminiscent of the kitchens of Downton Abbey and should never be combined with the cleaner whiter whites but rather with New White or even Slipper Satin. Mid Tones Undercoat.

quality but expensive We have used your products for a number of years and have always found them excellent if not a little pricey 09 April 2015
Try a sample first! We love Farrow & Ball - but made the mistake of buying two tins of this colour without trying it. In the daylight it was a very dark biscuity colour - but at night under artificial lighting it looked a sickly yellow-green. I would say use it on a feature wall - but not on a whole room where you are looking for a light and warm neutral. 09 March 2015
Love this colour Estate Emulsion No. 44 is a true cream colour. Other paint manufacturers just don't seem able to make a good cream. I have been using this colour in my sitting room for years - I live in a National Trust cottage - very, very old with very old walls and this colour really suits the cottage and also allows the walls to breathe. As always F&B paint is such a joy to work with. 01 December 2014
Great neutral colour. We've used Cream44 for our hallway & Stairs for a change from Sudbury yellow51. This has brightened up the area but still gives a warm look, and looks good with the light oak stairs & Door frames. The Modern Emulsion paint always covers well, we used under coat & two top coats to cover the Sudbury Yellow which gave a great finish. 20 November 2014

NEW KITCHEN we have recently renewed our kitchen with new plasterboards we put a 50/50 ( Paint/Water ) wash of white emulsion as a pre soak then once that had soak in and dried we gave the walls two coats of this , which we covered well and dried to a lovely sheen. we stil have a quater tin left which is handy as we have been told that 'FARROW AND BALL paint is one of very few that can be touch up without problem. 21 May 2013

Excellent Wonderful warm colour in a Georgian house. Compliments the stone fireplace. Ordered 3 large tins for a room 18 ft by 20ft. Put 3 coats on 2 alcoves and two on the other walls and still only used 1.5 tins. Now going to paint a bedroom!! 30 September 2012
