Clunch is aptly named after the chalk stone used in building blocks because it has a very dependable feel to it. Although some people see it as a soft grey, it actually has a yellow base making it the easiest of colours to live with. Often contrasted with Pointing on woodwork for a fresher look or with Old White to create a traditional looking room that feels like it has always been that way. White & Light Tones Undercoat.

Lovely coverage! This is a paint that can look very different in different light. Just used a 5 L tin on a hall stairs and landing. It isn't off white in my opinion, but a warmer browner magnolia. Very classy though. The coverage is excellent, Two coats essential, and my measuring of surface area was within a quarter of a litre on a 5L tin, so the paint does what it says on the tin! What is good is the fact that with a fairly wide wet edge, using a high ladder I didn't get any join marks in the final result. This paint ain't cheap, but it is the best value on the market. 10 February 2015

Light changes everything! I almost bought the paint without the tester - and am I glad I didn't! The light coming into my room definitely altered the shade so it's back to the testers again. I'm still giving 5 stars for everything else as I had no problem whatsoever with the paint itself, it went on beautifully and the finish was excellent. I just wish I had more of a clue as to how light can alter colour! 17 November 2014
