Castle Gray

No. 92

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Castle Gray was indeed first used on the exterior woodwork of a very handsome castle and is still usually presumed to be an exterior colour. However, it should also be considered for use inside, particularly to ground kitchen islands or in the back of bookcases to create depth and balance. Dark Tones Undercoat.

I love it more every day Used this paint for our feature wall in living room and every day it looks a different color with subtle blues greys and greens depending on the light, easy to use and great results 23 January 2015
castle grey fit for a king ! This paint is simply the best ! glides on surfaces beautifully leaving a smooth professional look ,I recommend you use undercoat for paint work as it really does affect the final result. I have just finished using the castle grey eggshell finish (undercoat and two top coats ) to paint my many tired classic oak kitchen cabinet doors and ... what a transformation ! they look stunning with joa's white emulsion on the walls The kitchen is south facing with large windows and with the sunlight streaming through... brilliant ! and equally so in the late evening light , when the colour appears to take on a different hue . The beautiful classic and traditional shades (I think the colour on the sample pots are a closer colour match) that cannot be found on any other colour charts, offers transformation that can be both created and achieved with results that are just magical !!! 05 October 2014

A beautiful strong color I used castle gray in a small downstairs bathroom and achieved just the result I was looking for. It is a very dark, rich color but against the white and chrome it looks fantastic. 24 September 2014
Great Colour I used Castle Grey in my hallway which has no natural light. The colour was true and looks great, i would say it is more green than blue or grey. 09 September 2014
Love the colour We picked this colour with out even buying a sample pot, quite brave I know but didn't disappoint after already using this brand before no hesitation, we picked this colour for our kitchen dining area, our garden is very green with lots of trees so these colour compliment each other well, it really is a lovely colour people do comment on when visit and ask what colour etc it is, love it! 06 August 2014
Castle grey Great paint. Fantastic colour. Wonderful finish. Easy to use. 16 June 2014
Try this lovely blue-gray Chose this for our dining room which has very wide French windows directly out onto garden so wanted something that complimented the garden view. Most reviews of this shade seemed to suggest it was used on external paintwork eg doors but it is a wonderful colour for interiors. Subtle and warm, sometimes appears vaguely green but I think mainly bluey-gray. It is fresh and bright whilst still remaining calm. Great against wood, or white paintwork and at the back of the bookcase to highlight. Definitely recommend this shade, very happy with it. 25 March 2014
