Blackened 4.6 5 25 25
Highly recommended The colour chart does not provide a good representation of the shade of paint - so if you're considering using it make sure you buy a tester pot first. In natural light it looks grey, in good sunshine it looks violet and under artificial light it appears blue. We really like the result in our kitchen/dining room and it's helped to tone down the 'yellow' tone of the cream fitted units. November 1, 2014
very pale blue! In my very blight dining room wall, this looks very pale blue, or sometimes white. I originally wanted a bit stronger color, but still very elegant; so I kept it. I used "POINTIG" for skirting and cornice. October 29, 2014
Blackened Lovely paint, it has made a dark hall very bright. The paint it rich, creamy lovely paint to work with. It's worth the money. July 7, 2014

Fabulous Color, Fabulous Paint! I've used Blackened in several of my homes and it is always stupendous. On walls, it can be a bit white at times and a bit bluish at others, depending on the light and time of year. On trim, it's a fantastic way to set off your wall color and really define the shape of the room. I love this color and will keep using wherever I live! April 24, 2014
Perfect After opting for using nothing but Farrow and Ball paint from the great success with our kitchen cupboards, we decided on Blackened for our small bathroom. Having a slopy ceiling means having to find the right pale but interesting colour to complement half tiled walls (white with silver trimming) and blackened works perfectly. A very pale shade of grey with a lot of depth, went for the modern emulsion version as it is more moisture resistant. So pleased with the result. March 16, 2014
subtle and a change of natural light provides the mood After a considerable amount of time seeking to create the atmosphere for our hall and landings we decided upon elephants breath and blackened. Now we've finished and look back the choice has worked fine, as with most of F & B's products it's natural light that plays and changes our perception of the result. February 10, 2014
Unacceptable colour variation. Around the window recess where the light was directly on the wall the colour was exactly what I was expecting, an off white colour with just a hint of grey. However the rest of the room was nothing like that, it was a much darker grey with a blue hue...verging on lilac on one wall. I have several different colours of F & B paint in my house which I have always been delighted with but sadly on this occasion it turned out to be a very costly choice with having to have the room repaint. Unless you have a very bright room...think twice! September 21, 2013
