Ball Green is a tribute to Richard Ball, the paint pioneer, who along with John Farrow first founded the company in Dorset, England. It is an old distemper colour with a more sober, established feel than fresh Cooking Apple Green. It has a magical quality of appearing almost silver in candlelight, so is great for use in dining rooms. Mid Tones Undercoat.

GREAT PAINT This paint is lovely to work with. Good consistency, coloured well over previous colour which was a cranberry. The Ball Green is like a very pale olive. It was spot on Farrow and Ball's colour chart. Can't say enough about it, just love, love, love!! 07 April 2015
The colour has a lovely historic feel Ball Green has lifted the room and given it back its historic charm that was lacking previously. 09 February 2015
WONDERFUL COLOUR I had my lounge and dining room decorated under our dado rail approximately 5 years ago. Time to redecorate and I would have liked something different but I can`t get away from the lovely effect it has so we will be using the same colour - we will just use a lighter colour above dado rail for a different finish. Don`t be put off by the colour chart it is a really gorgeous colour and goes with any home furnishings. 28 December 2014
Lovely coverage I needed two coats and the finish was smooth. The colour was better than I had expected from the colour on the tin. Very professional. 16 November 2014
Wonderful color This paint went on the walls beautifully. It initially looks lighter green when wet, but as the paint dries it takes on a beautiful subtle green shade. It is neither to dark nor "to green". We used eggshell finish and it added a warmth and depth to the entire room. 16 September 2014
An elegant colour Used this in my South facing dining room which has black & red Victorian quarry tiles & a large gritstone fireplace & it sets these off very well. Usual F & B thing of needing that extra coat to give the best results (even when using F & B undercoat of an almost identical colour) but am extremely satisfied with the overall result. 30 May 2014
Love IT We used this in the garden on our new games room, its perfect for softening the lines of the building and blending in with the surrounding area 30 April 2014
Beautiful colour Lovely colour that looks green in sunlight then soft grey or bone colour in the evening. In the picture I have used it with Olive Green on the walls, then Smoke Green and Churlish on the drawers. 23 April 2014
