Arsenic has a lively, stimulating feel to it despite its name being derived from the poison that was once used as a pigment. Its vivid colour makes it feels just as at home on contemporary kitchen cabinets, especially when paired with Down Pipe, as it does on the walls of a 19th century dining room. Mid Tones Undercoat.

Great colour We have it in our 30s house and it looks great. It's quite dark so may not be to everyone's taste, but we love it. 20 April 2015
Another stunning colour I have just finished painting our study with this, and the transformation is amazing. The depth of colour is something that I simply have never found with rival products. Keep up the good work! 20 April 2015
STUNNING I have recently painted my hallway in arsenic. (I live in a 1930's semi detached house with a decent size hall but naturally dark).I was apprehensive about making such a statement, but having just painted all my floorboards in stone blue I knew this colour would compliment them well.To be honest arsenic is not a colour I really liked, but that was just personal preference.I am now so pleased I had the vision to go ahead and brave it! IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE! So many houses are beige as you are welcomed to their hall on first impressions BORING...(in my opinion).Coverage, ease of use, quality and final results are just 100% excellent. 12 December 2014
I'm a F&B convert! I used this colour in a conservatory and it's beautiful! The coverage was superb...and the depth of colour and finish is second to none. I'm now planning a feature wall in the adjoining kitchen in the same colour. I will now always use F&B's like painting with it!! 03 December 2014
Awesome colour I was looking everywhere for this colour and found it! 07 October 2014
You won't be disappointed! This colour is quite daring for me, but I absolutely love it! Used on one wall in a North facing kitchen, to go behind a black Esse wood fired cooker. Looks ace against the black of the flue. Decided to just use it on one wall because it's a kitchen. Rest of the room will be in Wimpole White. The web recommended James White so I ordered a sample pot, but I'm concerned it might look a bit mucky in a N facing room so the Wimpole is a safer option. Online service is excellent and very quick. Shame they don't do 1 litre tins as feel I've got most of a 2.5 litre tin now going to waste if I don't use it somewhere else. 23 August 2014
A joy to work with Spent a few days using an oil-based eggshell for our woodwork- before going on to F&B's external eggshell for our front door. What a difference in quality! This paint was a dream to use and have gone on to switch to F&B's eggshells for the rest of our woodwork. We chose Arsenic for our door and it is joyous! 18 August 2014
