Oval Room Blue

No. 85

Oval Room Blue 4.7 5 27 27
Stunning colour Looks beautiful in small, not-too-light downstairs bathroom. Has come up darker than might be expected from the website and sample pot - which we wanted anyway. Highly recommended. June 26, 2014
Stunning colour This colour has been used on exterior doors with the recommended undercoat and is a beautiful restful vintage blue. Coverage was very impressive and I appear to have ordered too much paint so I am looking for other things to paint with it - garden furniture may be next.... May 6, 2014
Cheap paint isn't worth it. Love Farrell and Ball, you see nuances every day. We were a bit rushed and painted over not quite dry silk satin so had some crackling. Worth the money every time though. April 2, 2014
Fantastic paint, fantastic colour I used Estate Emulsion in Oval Room Blue on my newly plastered walls in the downstairs combined lounge and dining room in our north London mid-terrace from 1928. The house was refurbished in 1969, and this 18th century hue turned out to be the perfect companion to our built-in teak shelves, our teak doors and honey-coloured oak floor boards. The colour also really sets off the white coving. I used the paint in a light room with windows both to the south and north, and you may want to consider using it in a fairly light space, since its gorgeous green-blue hues don't come out as well in the dark, when it looks much more grey. Both the Dark Tones Undercoat and the paint was easy to use (no dripping, quick drying, easy to clean the rollers). The Estate Emulsion also seems more hard-wearing than I first thought: so far, I have been able to wipe both coffee and soup off the walls. February 23, 2014
A beautiful soft finish The final soft finish provided by the Dead Flat paint shows this discreet colour beautifully. Excellent depth but a very subtle hue. February 6, 2014
A beautiful colour First time using Farrow and Ball and I was very impressed. Fantastic finish and fabulous colour - used in my conservatory. Has turned a bland space into a warm inviting room. January 29, 2014
Flows beautifuly Hi Great paint I would always recommend it. Although with the Oval Room Blue the colour looks much lighter when you use it out of doors than the colour card sugests. I always buy a match pot. October 22, 2013
Hallway A really beautiful smokey blue. Am being brave and using it in my hallway, which is already quite dark anyway. The colour makes a good background for my furniture and pictures. September 9, 2013
