Job Title: Commercial Operations Manager
The purpose of this role is to manage Commercial Operations and Property through the planning and effective measurement of process and resources to support the commercial Retail and Sales teams.

The role will be integral in establishing and developing the global Farrow & Ball Showroom portfolio as well as ensuring the existing Showrooms are operating at optimum efficiency and profitability. Job Purpose:
Farrow & Ball have an exciting opportunity for two dynamic and varied roles within our global Research & Technical Development department.
The Laboratory Technician will ideally have a Chemistry degree or related science degree and/or experience of working or studying in a laboratory environment. Working across the different departments within Research & Technical Development, the Laboratory Technician will have the opportunity to work within QC/QA, process improvement, application and benchmark testing, Compliance & Legislation and product development.

Main Responsibilities include:
  • To undertake routine quality control tests
  • To record results for batch testing
  • Test paint samples and adjust to specification using correction notes and experience.
  • To investigate product failure and suggest remedial actions to recover product where possible.
  • To prepare small scale trial samples
  • To set standards to ensure performance of existing and development products meets company requirements
  • To assist in further development of lab test methods and to assist research on global technical legal and regulatory requirements
  • To carry out product benchmarking of existing and development products and report on findings
